The shape of this ring is endlessly fascinating to me. I make it entirely with my hammer on my anvil. It has become one of my favorite shapes, in smaller through heavier versions. It makes a great ring for a stack, showing the change in dimension of the taper as it turns on your finger and a handsome man’s ring alone in a heavier form. This ring is best made in 18k gold.
