These are sweet little chunks of hand carved African blackwood in close fitting hoops. The magic is the interior. They are gold or silver leafed on the inside curve which just ads a little subtle gleam which contrasts starkly with the dull almost black color of the wood. They are about  3/8th in thickness, about 5/8th inches front to back and 3/4" total height. The pair in the photos has 23k gold leaf. The leaf is applied in a three step process and sealed.
