This is my signature ring and a form I love. This is a challenging ring to make with just a hammer on the anvil. The thinning of the gold into perfectly fine wire combined with shaping the heft of the band is exacting and the crossing over and wrapping have to occur perfectly. It’s a most unusual ring, ancient, like something found in sunken treasure. I discovered the form many years ago when studying antique Thai jewelry forms. Made to order.
